The BASE project/BASE Birth of TowerBoy

A project born and created from a fascination with mobile communications/devices, technology, conspiracy theories and an over-active imagination. This micro series of 4 episodes was made with the emerging internet video arena/personal media player in mind. Made on a budget of zero, using a canon mv800i, an old LG laptop and a heap of, "Do it yourself, 'cos no ones gonna do it for you..", this series proves that even with limited resources you can make good sci-fi.



A man goes for a walk in the country and happens upon a mobile phone base station. The station buzzes with energy and information and within a short while he has been 'zapped' by the information and can read peoples text messages, hear peoples phone conversations and traverse the flow of information itself..
